The Custom Order Process

When you begin to think about creating something completely custom, it is important to take time to be inspired and gather your ideas. When we get started, we’ll ask about your ideas for your items. The more detail you can tell us about what you like, the faster the process can get started. As you find inspiration for your items, you can create a pinterest board or pull images to share with us. The products on our website and blog are a good starting point to see color and material options.
Details We Need to Know:
- which items you are interested in having made
- materials/color combinations you love
- the date you need to have your items completed
- the size you would like your items to be (we can help by making size recommendations)
- your budget for your items (this helps narrow down material & design options) -
Each custom project begins with a personalized quote. We'll answer any questions you may have and nail down the specifics of your project. You'll sign off for the project to begin and submit payment for your order online.
Quoting Timeline: typically 2-5 business days depending on the specifics of your order. If there is a lot of back and forth to pin down the details of your items the quoting process can take longer. -
Once we have received the details for the items you’d like to have made, you have approved the quote for your items, and you have submitted the initial payment for your order, we will begin the design process. We create full digital mock ups of your items for you to approve before we send them into production.
The design phase includes:
- digital design mock ups of your signage
- 2 rounds of proof revisions
Design Timeline: `Typically 1-2 weeks, depending on the quantity and complexity of your items. We ask that you be mindful of the timeline when reviewing your design proofs. If proofs are not approved or additional revisions are needed, the proofing timeline will have to be extended. We cannot begin production on your items unless your design proofs are approved. -
Now you get to sit back and relax while we get to work creating your items! We’ll take great care in making your order and getting it ready for either pickup or shipping. When it’s completed we reach out to you to let you know it is either 1) ready for pickup or 2) ready for shipping.
Production Timeline: 2 -3 weeks
Shipping Timeline: 2-8 business days
*Expedited production and shipping options may be available for your items. If you are in a time crunch, please let us know at the time of placing your order so we can include these options in your quote. -
